Dr. Short provides insightful, science-based information nuanced for our specific region based on her years of experience in this area, which is particularly helpful as so much of available beekeeping information is very general. She also communicates with nationally recognized beekeepers and researchers and has been able to present information on the most current developments. Importantly, she offers services such diagnostics for pests or diseases and locally adapted bees. And fun to work with and learn from!

In addition, she is a successful business owner.
